Hover or tap a kind to light everything it reaches · choose one to stand on it The 5 kinds this commitment licenses. A commitment that licenses none governs how the model is read rather than what it holds.
What the drawing means
AcrossOne band per column, left to right in the order the model declares.
DownThe kinds of that band, in the order its manifest states.
AboveThe view layer: a view owns nothing of its own; it reads the model below.
A spineHow many roads the kind carries — thicker means more of the model runs through it.
A roadOne governed relationship. Its weight is the share of the source kind's terms that complete it.
A faint roadUnder a third complete, so an unfinished region looks unfinished.
Dashed purpleA view composes from that kind; solid purple means it carries that kind's terms.
Not drawnA terminal relationship, and any typing or grounding — each is how a term is read, not somewhere a road goes, so neither is a route.
HoverLights a kind, every road touching it, and every kind on the far end.
ClickStands on it — the page opens and the map holds that node lit.

Keep concrete creative separate from its classifications

A Creative Asset is a source-addressable creative record at the source-defined rendition grain. It is distinct from the Content Type that templates it, the Format it renders as, and the Size Specification that constrains where it can go. Tactic owns the canonical operational use link; Campaign and Action do not duplicate it.

What goes wrong without it

A creative asset is one addressable thing that exists in a system of record. Its format, the role it plays, what is visible in it and the geometry it is delivered at are all descriptions of it, and each belongs to a different vocabulary. Folded into the asset they produce a record that is part file and part category, and can be neither counted nor found.

What proves it — 3

Each is a gate the build runs: a check inside a ring, a whole ring, or an eval beside them. A build stops at the first that refuses.

  • registry integrityadmission and shape
Every kind has a valid shape and evidence class, and every row keeps the admission its kind allows: a record names its source, an exemplar names none, and a world record states the public reference it stands on.
  • registry integritystable identifiers
Kind prefixes are unique, every row keeps the identity convention of its kind, and an identifier once retired is never reused: a kind writes each retirement down with its date and its reason, and every number below its highest is a row or a retirement.
  • registry integritytyped relationships
Every relationship has declared endpoint kinds and a governed cardinality.

Where this model stands

Creative Asset admits a record only against a source system. Hero image stands as its exemplar, and no asset is invented.

A Creative Asset record names the system it lives in and its identifier there; the Content Types view reads the same rows rather than a copy of them.

Two vocabularies once stood beside the asset, the role it played in an experience and what was visibly present in it. No public standard defines either as the model carried them, and no reading reached them; they were a content team's tagging scheme, and they are gone. Should a source that admits real assets carry such tags, the public terms exist to map them to: the photo metadata standard's persons, products and scene shown, and the native advertising specification's image asset types.

What it does not claim

No Creative Asset record or its relationship assertions are admitted until a DAM, CMS, ad system or governed operating source supplies a durable record identifier and the asserted relationship evidence.
